Tree Law Experience
For more than fifteen years, I've represented homeowners, ranchers, and other property owners across California in tree-related disputes.
One case I often point to: I represented a ranch owner in San Luis Obispo against Pacific Gas & Electric Co., involving the destruction of over 70 Coast Live Oak trees, resulting in a $250,000 settlement. Mature oaks like those can take a lifetime to replace, which is a big part of why these cases are worth pursuing.
Here’s an overview of my tree-law services:
Timber trespass or cutting down trees
Improper trimming or pruning of trees
Damage to property caused by encroaching roots
Dangerous trees owned by neighbors
Protecting valuable trees from neighboring construction projects
